The Rolex Land-Dweller is one of the most striking and innovative timepieces introduced by Rolex in 2025. Designed as a bold new chapter in their sport watch lineup, the Land-Dweller blends modern engineering with retro-inspired aesthetics. It features a sculpted case available in 36 mm and 40 mm sizes, paired with a fully integrated flat-link Jubilee bracelet—marking Rolex’s first venture into integrated bracelet design. This model is powered by the newly developed Calibre 7135, Rolex’s first high-frequency mechanical movement beating at 5 Hz. It incorporates the Dynapulse escapement, designed for greater energy efficiency, enhanced magnetic resistance, and higher precision. The movement is visible through a transparent sapphire caseback, a rare feature for Rolex watches. The dial showcases a detailed honeycomb texture created with femtosecond laser technology, complemented by Chromalight luminescent hands and markers, and open 6 and 9 numerals. Depending on the configuration, the Land-Dweller is offered in combinations of Oystersteel and white gold (White Rolesor), solid Everose gold, or even platinum, with certain models featuring diamond-set bezels or indices. With a 66-hour power reserve and water resistance up to 100 meters, the Land-Dweller is both elegant and functional. Its price ranges from approximately $13,900 for the stainless steel and white gold version to over $100,000 for platinum and diamond-set variants. The Land-Dweller stands out not only for its technical breakthroughs but also for its confident departure from Rolex's traditional design language.
